The design features the Cailleach herself with her iconic staff (or wand) which she beats into the ground forming the landscape surrounded by winter wildlife (including ravens, a winter wren, snow geese, and a hare).

MATERIALS: It is printed with Caligo Safewash (non-toxic) Relief Ink on traditional handmade Japanese Awagami Select Hosho Paper.

COLOR: It is printed in a Slate Stone color – the iconic dark gray-blue-green of the Cailleach’s winter storms. The color is hand-mixed so please expect slight variations. If you would like to see the specific print that is being mailed to you, please contact me.

PACKAGING: This print will be rolled in Kraft paper, packed in a recycled clear bag and shipped in a recycled cylindrical tube. It is gift-ready as it is! A one-page insert including a description of the folklore is included with the print.
