Entwined: Visual and Textual Narratives

  • Mosesian Center for the Arts MBAR Gallery Thomas A Pannesi Lobby, Watertown Massachusetts U.S.A. (map)

Two of my prints: Weaver of the World and Baba Yaga & the Falcon, are part of a group exhibit ENTWINED: VISUAL & TEXTUAL NARRATIVES. If you are in the Greater Boston area I’d love to see you at the Opening Reception June 6, 2024 details below!

Both these artworks celebrate the powerful feminine elder who lives intimately with the wild, secretly wielding her magic and influence for personal and planetary transformation. Though her work often goes unnoticed, through the gift of storytelling, she becomes visible, we see her true value, we honor her worth.

ENTWINED: VISUAL AND TEXTUAL NARRATIVES, is a group exhibit that explores the strong connections between literature and visual arts. Words paint pictures and artists interpret and are influenced by stories. ENTWINED will feature artwork inspired by literature, the written word, folk tales, and tales of all kinds—from fairy tales to myths to narratives that are autobiographical or speak of the human condition. This exhibition runs from May 17 through June 21. Learn more at mosesianarts.org
